1. Have A Healthy Diet

Nutrition is essential, not just for your overall health, but for the sake of your pores and skin also. You want to eat lots of fruit and veggies. Mainly leafy vegetables. Do not consume too much bread. Researchers in the usa consider that the processed sugar in bread can raise your insulin levels. And a previous study discovered a link between insulin levels and acne.

2. Personal Hygiene

Personal hygiene is extremely important since clogged pores are one of the causes of teen acne. It is important to keep your skin clean and dirt free as much as possible.

Clean yourself 2 times per day with cleansing soap designed for acne sufferers. Wash in the morning when you first get up, and again right before you go to bed. This is along with taking a bath or shower everyday. The right soap to apply is soap which includes Melaleuca Alternifolia also called Tea Tree Oil, Aveen Sativa or Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil. If the soap you pay for has all three, all the better.

Do not scrub way too hard when cleansing because this can cause your skin oil glands to create more sebum. Sebum is the oil which causes most acne. So scrubbing to hard could really increase the quantity of acne that you already have. Be gentle when cleansing and don’t apply a rough fabric.

3. If you have long hair keep it tied back away from your face. Your hair also has oils which can contribute to acne outbreaks. Be sure you wash your hair every single day to decrease the quantity of oil it has, just in case it does get in your face. Furthermore, if you exercise, and you should, make sure to wash your hair after each exercise.

4. Multi-vitamins are important.

When you wake up each day, don’t forget to take a multi-vitamin. The most powerful ones usually have mega in the title, like mega multi-vitamin. Quite often acne is your bodies way of telling you something is bad. Remember, your pores and skin is a vital organ which needs proper nutrition no different than your lungs or heart or any other of your internal organs. Unless you receive the proper nutrition you body will rebel. One of the ways your body will fight back is by supplying extra sebum that will clog your pores, resulting in acne.

5. Consume more carrots which have beta-carotene also called vit a.

Vit A will help to prevent acne by strengthening the protective tissue of the skin. It will also help to decrease the sebum production. Vitamin A is a very powerful anti-oxidant needed to help your body get rid of toxins. One of the causes of acne is deficiencies in vitamin a.
